Christopher L. Taylor

Attorney Christopher L. Taylor, of Brownsville, Tennessee, graduated from Haywood County High School in 1987. After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in political science, he obtained a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Arkansas State University.

In the summer of 1995, while still in law school, Taylor began working at Hill Boren P.C. as a clerk performing legal research, assisting in depositions, and learning the day to day practice of law. In the summer of 1996, Taylor graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law and became licensed to practice law in the fall of 1996.

Mr. Taylor has successfully tried numerous personal injury and workers compensation cases including the pioneering color-discrimination case Brack v. Shoney’s.

He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Tennessee Association for Justice, the Tennessee Bar Association, the National Bar Association, the Memphis Bar Association, the National Bar Association, Ben F. Jones Chapter, the NAACP and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He became a shareholder of the firm in 2001. He currently serves as Vice President for West Tennessee and on the Executive Committee for the Tennessee Association for Justice and delegate to the Minority Caucus for the American Association for Justice.

In June of 1995, he married the former Chantal Hess of Brownsville. Now residing in Memphis, the Taylors have a daughter, Gabrielle and a son, Christopher L. Taylor, Jr. The former captain of the Haywood County High School football team, Chris is the son of William and the late Fannie Taylor of Brownsville.
