Laura Bailey

A native of Germantown, Tennessee, Laura Bailey graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in December 2003. While attending UTK, Ms. Bailey frequently appeared on the Dean’s List, was a member of the Phi Kappa Pi National Honor Society and graduated Cum Laude. She continued her education at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law where she attained her Juris Doctor in May 2008.

As a student at the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, Ms. Bailey earned a CALI Award for the highest academic performance in Remedies 2008. She was a member of Moot Court Board and a member of the National Mock Trial Team. Laura was named Best Oral Advocate of her legal methods section. Ms. Bailey began her law career in Shelby County General Sessions Court Memphis, Tennessee where she assisted attorneys with case research and preparation

Laura joined Hill-Boren in October 2008 as the Director of Research and Appeals at their Jackson location. She has been admitted by the Tennessee Supreme Court to practice law in the entire state of Tennessee. She is a member of the Tennessee Association of Justice with additional member-ships in their Medical Malpractice Litigation, Workers' Compensation and Young Lawyers groups. She is an active member of Young Lawyers Division of the Madison County Bar Association.

Laura enjoys coaching Jackson high school students for the Tennessee High School Mock Trial Competition and traveling in her spare time. She is a UT football and University of Memphis basketball fan. Laura is an avid skier and loves spending time with her chocolate lab, Otis.
