Shannon L. Toon

Attorney Shannon Toon, a native of Union City, Tennessee, graduated from Union City High School in 1991. He received an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. While attending college, Mr. Toon was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and Chi Epsilon National Civil Engineering Honor Society. He received his Doctorate of Juris Prudence in 1999 from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis where he was a member of the Student Bar Association.

Mr. Toon is a member of the Memphis Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Tennesseee Trial Lawyers Association and American Association for Justice. He currently is vice president of the Memphis Bar Association. He will become president of hte organization in 2007.

Mr. Toon began his law career with the firm of Spicer, Flynn and Rudstrom in the Memphis office. He joined Hill Boren in May of 2003. He is admitted to practice before all state courts in Tennessee as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.

Shannon currently resides in Memphis, Tennessee. He enjoys all sports especially playing golf and watching Notre Dame football and Kentucky basketball
