Mike Hartup is a West Tennessee native. He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the University of Memphis in 2000. He then earned his Juris Doctor from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis in 2003.

He joined the Hill Boren team in December 2007 to run the firm’s large Social Security practice. He has practiced in the areas of workers compensation, personal injury, criminal, and domestic law. He currently handles hundreds of disability cases a year and represents clients throughout West Tennessee and North Mississippi.
